Some Blogs I Regularly Visited Prior to Class Today (Some Library Related, Some Not).

Daily Kos.
Subtitled State of the Nation and regarded by some poltical pundits as a poster-blog for the far left, this is the blog of Markos Moulitsas ZĂșniga. "Kos" was his Army nickname. His blog attracts an average of 400,000 hits a day.
David Byrne Journal.
Former frontman of the Talking Heads, Byrne makes some pretty interesting observations about the world, including our present political situation. He also goes to a lot of concerts.
The Jeremy Show.
My friend Jeremy, whose heroines include Sandra Bernhard and Bette Midler. He does them proud.
Lessig Blog.
Blog component of la website de la Stanford law professor Lawrence Lessig, author of Code and other Laws of Cyberspace and Free Culture: The Nature and Future of Creativity.
Librarians' Internet Index: New This Week.
Not so much a blog as the subscription feed of the latest Librarians' Internet Index-approved resources.
MetaFilter.
A "community weblog" where members post links to interesting bits of the Internet and then dish about it.
The Shifted Librarian.
Maintained by Jenny Levine. She takes her name from a rather complicated concept that boils down to the idea of "shifting" libraries and librarians to make them more "portable."
Tame the Web.
Need I explain why I read this blog?
